How do you get XBOX Live?

To keep it simple, go to your nearest all gaming store, e.g EB games, and you can get the card for the membership from 1 month all the way to the 12 month, get gold, to connect it though it requires either buying a $70 wireless adapter (if you have a wireless router hooked up to your computer), or buying a cord that'll reach from your router to the back of your xbox.

well...there are certain xbox 360s that come with it. Like if you go to gamestop they have little stickers on the box that say that the xbox comes with it. I would call them or eb games or sum1 and ask them if you have to buy it or sumthin.

Well, if you want to play multiplayer games over live, you will need a Gold subscription, a broadband connection (anything over 1mbps download, 128kbit upload should be fine as long as you aren't using it heavily while playing on Live), and some way to route that internet connection to your Xbox. You can either run an ethernet wire to the back of the Xbox, or, purchase the over-priced wireless adapter and wirelessly connect to your router, assuming you have a wireless router.
