  1. This is normal for a baby! The baby's stomach is the size of a marble (probably a little bigger). They get full really fast but need to eat more frequently. I suggest some parenting classes if you need more insight!

  2. you'll have to try different ways to get the baby's attention on you so that he enjoys eating rather than paying attention to what's going on around. try singing to baby while feeding him.

  3. normal 4 month old behavior. Just give him/her time.

  4. Mine has always been this way.  He's 7 months now and takes about 6 oz.  He wants more again in 2-3 hours.  I have read that they should be drinking more, less often by now, but this just seems to be what he prefers.  I don't think you can do anything to change it.

  5. EDIT:  Are rude and snarky answers REALLY necessary?

You really can't except for burping after the baby has taken the initial 2-4 oz and see if she might want some more.  If not, I'm afraid you can't force a baby to take more.  She may just have a little tummy.

Sorry I don't have better advice.  Sometimes they just need to burp and they'll take more, though.

Another issue might be the nipple size.  If the nipple is too slow then the baby might get tired out and frustrated.  If you get a size up with a faster flow that might help some- or it might make it worse.  You need to experiment a little.

    Good luck!

  6. Im not sure if your doing this but if you put cereal in your babys bottle ( about 2 oz of it to 2 oz formula) then your baby wont want to eat so much.  I actualy had to start feeding my daughter cereal by spoon when she was 2 months old because of the same thing.

  7. Just feed the poor baby if hes hungry...

  8. Its normal baby eating. I wouldn't push the baby to eat more to save time on you. Its not healthy and can cause the baby to become overweight.

  9. you cant, you can try and offer it and he may even take it but he may just spit it out again.

  10. It's called "demand feeding". Perfectly normal for an infant that age. Get used to the lack of sleep!

  11. Thats normal.  He will probably increase his feedings soon.  My dd is almost 7 months and eats 7 ounce bottles but still every couple of hours.
