  1. Put ice on it (get yourself an ice bag).

  2. ICE!

  3. Put a warm washcloth over the wound, this will feel nice, and just may subside the itching.

  4. Try rubbing it with alcohol. It will sting for a few seconds, but it will dull the itching. Then rub some Neosporin onto it.

  5. try meat tenderizer. it works on me!! lol so just dab a little bit on and there ya go!

  6. I have been a bee keeper for years now.  and receive a sting or two each weak. You will receive a lot of tips for topical treatments such as tobacco baking soda, toothpaste and many others.  they are just wives tales.  none will work. my only advice is to take some benidryl (this wont do any good if it has ben a few hours since the sting) dont rub or scratch.  your body will fix it on its own.

  7. first you need to get the stinger out.  wet some dirt and rub it on there.  dirt is good at getting the stinger out.  then get some anti itch medicine over the counter.

  8. This may sound silly, but it's absolutely true.  Chew up a small bit of tobacco, like from a cigarette, just until it's wet and sloppy.  Put it on the sting area, and it will stop all pain and itching immediately.  A natural chemical in the tobacco extracts the toxin.

PS: You did get the stinger out, didn't you?

  9. Make a paste of baking soda and water.  Slather it over the sting area and let it dry.

  10. honey!

  11. after you have tried a paste made of baking soda and water or

                                vinegar or

                               meat tenderizer or

                               ice

then it might be time to call the doctor.  you might be allergic.  if

you are allergic you may need shots.  my pediatrician told me if

we did not treat my son's stings that each time his reaction would

be worse.  the ultimate being shock and possible death.
