  1. Start weaning them when they're about 4 and a half weeks old.

Start with canned cat food or meat baby food.  It needs to be a thin paste.

Mix it with the formula you're feeding in the bottle.

Put a tiny bit on your finger and put it on the kitten's tongue.  When the kitten starts lapping it off your finger, show him a shallow plate of food.  Usually, they catch on quick.

Over time, they'll start taking kibble.  Usually by 6-8 weeks.

  2. you do not.  you keep it on your counter, like bonsai kitty.

  3. take it to aa meetings

  4. Start by adding the formula to dry or semi-dry food, and slowly decrease the formula every day.

It's a personal (and your vet) decision whether to put the kitten on dry or wet food.

  5. You don't want to mess th digestive system up to much. So slowly introduce her to wet cat food then dry cat food.
