i am just wondering how you get a foreign exchange student

In your area/school- someone signs up to be a host family.

If you personaly want to be a host family then you can sign up to be one! You can always check out AFS.org to get started. They are always in need of host familys.

Generally, the foreign language teachers are involved in that.  If they haven´t been trying to get your class to offer up as hosts, contact them, or the guidance office sometimes has all that, too.
