my horse is usually fine at the house and doesn't buck or rear to much. whenever i take her to a show she will start bucking and rearing like she is a bronc. she is also really bad in the alleyway, when i am geting ready to run barrels. she had her stifles injected because she was hurt really bad, and that made her bad in the alleyway. she started to get better when we took her to a local arena to practice, and she will walk right in if you kick her a bit. she runs fine and everything, but when there are other horses around, she acts really bad in the alleyway. she runs just as hard if not harder when we are practicing, then when we are at a barrel race. she acts as if she is showing off to the other horses, and she will also kick and bite the other horses. she used to like the other horses, but now she treats them as if they were the devil. how do you make her quit this behavior.

  1. Hey Guys.  I Have A 14hh Bay Gelding Who Used To Buck Whenever I Took Him To A Show. I Tried Everything But Nothing Worked, I Then Stummbled Upon The 'Parelli Natural Horsemanship Programme' And Soon Found My Fault.  Parelli Is About Putting The Relationship Between You And Your Horse Before Anything Else. It Focuses On Teaching The Human Rather Than Teaching The Horse. Horses Need A Relationship Based On Love, Language And Leadership. For More Info Go To www.parelli.com
