How do you get a job at 13?

i really need the extra money cuz my hobby is lasers adn reptiles and they are both expencive but i know it is possible to get a job this young because i know some who does so does anyone know what i can do

Agriculture has a ton of different (and more relaxed) laws on working age & hours. If possible, you may want to go ask a nearby farm business.

Do you have any talents? I mean I've taught piano lessons that young. If you play an instrument, parents would love cheap lessons for the kids. Also just volunteer yourself in your neighborhood. Put up flyers for like mowing lawns, babysitting whatever you think you're neighborhood needs.

You don't.  No legitimate employer is going to take on a kid that young, not even to deliver papers.

Your best bet is going to be to try to make your own job, as a dog walker or grass mower or something like that.  The liabilities of working a minor as young as that is simply too much for any employer to take on anymore, and they won't do it.

Try babysitting, working for a small local business, working for someone that you know who owns a store or restaurant, being a busboy at a restaurant, doing odd jobs for neighbors, or joining the mafia.

well really u cant right know at ur age but u could deliver news papers or u can put up a big sign that says ill mow ur lawn for 10 or 5 dollars an hour hope that helped sorry if it didnt bye :)

I worked on a farm when I was 13.  They let me work whatever days as long as I was there all day.

You can wash cars, deliver papers, walk dogs, and mow laws if you live in a city.

You can always do odd jobs around the house or if your neighbors will allow you to do things for them. Babysitting is always something someone your age do to get a few dollars.

what u have to do is talk to ur neighbors people u know to see if u can help them out and work in the area to get any kind of exp under ur belt but u cant get any job until at least 14 or 15 but doing odd jobs in the area will help u buikd character and u can put those odd jobs on a resume just to show u r responsible,so keep that in mind.
