It's a government job so you have to pass background check and drug test. best thing to do is go to the post office usually they have something hanging up that says where you need to go if not ask someone there, or you can even call and find out

You have to take a civil service test.    Got to the local Post Office and ask for an application.    The test is very hard if you don't have an excellent memory!!!
