  1. Kidney infections are nothing to fool around with...you need to contact your doc. ASAP...they only way to treat a kidney infection is with antibiotics which your doc. will prescribe. In the mean time, make sure you stay well hydrated...drinks lots of water, cranberry juice, etc...which help with flushing out some of the bacteria...

  2. well this sounds silly....

but i got mine bout 7 years ago on holiday i drank alot of fizzy pop n i was out in the heat all the time and it had something to do with the pop. theres many different forms of it,

But with mine it was painful to use the toilet.

  3. Kidney infections are nearly always a result of a prolonged or very severe bladder infection (UTI). If the bacteria remain in the bladder untreated for long enough, they may spread up the ureters into the kidneys causing full blown polynephritis (kidney infection). Such an infection usually damages the kidneys permanently so it's important for all UTIs to be treated promptly and effectively.

Symptoms of a kidney infection will therefore typically include symptoms of UTI- urgency, frequency of urination, burning urine, also blood in the urine abdominal and back pain, high temperature, sweats and chills.
