  1. You can get one at the post office.  Take your cash with you and get it.  Make sure you send it certified mail and keep your stub, so someone doesn't s***w you over.

  2. Safest best is any local post office, it's like 99 cents.  NEVER WESTERN UNION, especially when buying on fleabay. That way, if you have a problem, you can always complain to the postmaster general, or their fraud department.  But if you go thru Western Union, you're screwed. And you can get a credit card, pay as you go (Green Dot, they're called here) but they're a rip off because they charge you a $5 monthly fee whether you use it or not.  Safest bet, get a good ole US Postal money order.

  3. you can try DDs... (Demand Draft)

Most banks will let you make a DD there even if u dont have an account with them. but if u have a savings account in any bank, better go there. just pay the amount and service charge (which the bank ppl will tell u, based on the amount) and they'll make the DD, you just have to fill a form there, giving name of recipient, and location.

if u dont want to go for DD, money order can be sent through post offices. again, you can buy a money order form (used to be 25 paisa!) and fill it up n pay the bank ppl n take the acknowledgement.

    thats it...

  4. Go to the grocery store courtesy desk and tell them you want a money order for x dollars.  It will cost about 50 cents for the money order, depending on the amount of the money order.
