How do you get a password for windows xp so I can keep my wicked little niece off my computer & messing it up

need to install a password on windows xp to lock my computer

Go to your Control Panel, click on Users and set your password there.  never forget it because you're the only one who will know it!

Go to the Control panel, and click on Users and Accounts.  You need to make your own name on it, and set up the password.

All your do is open the start menu settings->control panel->user accounts->choose your account and then click create a password
