  1. People use their screen names on eBay, not "member numbers". The only way you could e-mail someone is if you see that they have a current item for sale -- then you could e-mail them by using the "Ask Seller a Question" button.

    Ebay protects their members' privacy. You won't be able to look up someone and get their e-mail address through eBay.
