How do you get a private phone number to show on caller id?

My home number is private and I am trying to call my cousin but when I try a recording comes on and it says that they don't accept private calls and to enable your caller id. So is there something I can enter in to show my home number on their caller id this one time?

It depends upon the phone company, each company has different things to punch in, so ask her about her phone company, she can tell you the code.
