  1. Try putting it near food, wheel, or water somewhere that they go alot so they will notice it more if that still doesn't work i would try putting a treat like a honey drop on it but scratch the salt l**k with the honey drop so the salt l**k Will smell a little more tastier and the honey drop will have a salty taste and it ll no where it came from (hope i helped)

  2. Give your rats a potato chip once a day - they're much more likely to nibble on that and get their daily salt.  I've never heard of a "salt l**k" for rats...

  3. well my rats jus ignored the salt l**k i got them for their cage so i got them like flavoured sticks which they LOVED try sumfin else real hard so thy can shorten their teeth!!

  4. dissolve them in its water so each drink they take will provide a bit at a time.

  5. well rats actually dont need mineral and salt licks so that's why most rats dont need them, but if your rats ever feel like using it they will... rat food has enough of salt and everything like that for them so its not really needed at all

if your concern is something for them to chew on, here's a good website with chew toy ideas along with a whole mess of other things you can make or buy for them http://www.dapper.com.au/toys.htm#chewto...
