How do you get a record of 38-0 with 25 knockouts by running Mayweather's haters?

Somebody explain that to me. You guys are mad because he is avoiding Cotto. Well, okay most of you men on here walked away from street fights okay. So, don't act like you would fight Cotto if you were Mayweather either. I personally think that Mayweather did something Ricky Hattan didn't do. One is moving up in weight. Mayweather is not a natural middleweight so why even fight Cotto or Antonio Margarito who are. He has won titles in 5 different weight classes. Cotto or Antonio Margarito never done that. You don't get to 38-0 with 25 knockouts by running around the ring. If that was the case then anybody can box. I mean judge the man by what he has done inside the ring and not outside of it. He gets paid to box not run his mouth. Nice guys don't box but they do play tennis or golf. Yes, Mayweather shouldn't fight Margarito or Cotto. I think he should be in the junior welterweight class personally. Also, he didn't have to more up to middleweight to begin with for real.

if I had mayweather skills I would fight cotto. I would show the world I'm the best boxer ever. And I believe mayweather can beat cotto.

Why does mayweather have the record u ask . Cause with his speed he can hit u and get away from any punches coming back. He dont take much risk and so it really makes it a dull fight.he also picks and chooses his opponnents he knows he can beat. He avoided kostyzlu and casamayor when they called him out.

And if u say he shouldn't belong in that welter division then he should do the right thing and fight the welters or vacate the title since its ****** it up for the rest of the welters who dont Have a chance to be the welterweight champion.

I agree that Mayweather is a great fighter, but your main question (in the thread title) is flawed. When Alex Stewart fought Mike Tyson he had a record of 40-0 with 38 Kos.

first off Cotto is only 5'7 and only moved up to welterweight a year or two ago as well, so he is definitely not a middleweight ....but the main reason why most cant stand Mayweather is because he keeps shouting at the wind that he is the greatest and we are just tired of hearing of it ..... Now finally the media, which gave him the fraudulent P4P title and the fans who were on his jock for so long, are starting to see what i have since he took the Gatti to Baldomir fights and avoided the Mega Match with Margarito.... So now that media is starting to blast Mayweather for ducking everyone the zombie fans are following right in line..... Margarito is a bigger natural fighter but he always makes weight and if Cross dressing Delahoya can step up to Hopkins , mayweather should be able to step to Tony...... and delahoya has won in 6 different weight classes .... Most of us on here are older and saw the glory days of boxing when alll the best in the division would fight eachother to see who is better, not to see who can get a bigger PPV..... if boxing wants to fix itself it might want to go back to Prime Time Free TV or we will continue to see fighters like Mayweather hold a division hostage by only fighting guys that have little chance of winning and leaving us with Hypothetical Matchups ....and now with PPV fights gettting bigger, fighters can make enough money to fight once a year while all others stand by and wait 3 to 5 years for a shot, which hurts the division even more ..... remember we are not the saying he is the greatest , we are just reminding Mayweather hes not....till he steps up and proves it....
