I got a Skypeln number, and it didn't work. I tried to contact Skype, but they don't have a Help Support or phone number.

Does anyone had the same problem? How did you fix it?

  1. Yes, that has happened to me about six months ago.

I had two SkypeIN numbers; one in Albuquerque, NM and one in Charlotte, NC.

The Albuquerque number worked great for the few months I had it.

The Charlotte, NC number worked for some people but not for others.... depending where in Charlotte they lived or called from...

I eventually got credit back from Skype.... but it took some time and back and forth with Skype Support via email to finally convince them the number wasn't working correctly.

Document all information relating to the problem.

Do testing and verification and validation to back your claim.

Here is how to contact them:

In your Skype client on your PC:

    - Click on "HELP" menu in top right corner

    - From the drop-down list, select

    "Contact Customer Support"

    That will take you to:

    http://support.skype.com/?_a=tickets&_m=...

    - Under "Choose A Product", select "Skype Products"

    - Under "Skype Products", select "SkypeIN"

    - Now, fill-in the details of your Problem Description.

Because, Skype has over 11.5 million "active" daily customers, it may take up to 48 hours, or so, to get a response from them.

Once you do, you can start the back and forth dialog with Customer Service.  Because of slow responses, this may all take some time.... but with persistance, hopefully you will be successful in getting your problem resolved and/or a refund.
