Depending in what genre you wrrite in you can check certain magazines and anthologies. Check your favorite magazines and look for the address. You can write to them and ask for submission guidelines for a writer's submissions. Anthologies are on the internet and each has its own guidelines set down in the 'submissions and guidelines' section.

Just make sure you have no errors in spelling or grammar (at least not too many). All writers make those errors. If you like horror then check out ralan dot com. Go to the anthologies section on the right hand side of the page.
