How do you get a skunk smell out of your vents?!?

A skunk sprayed our air conditioning unit about 5 days ago, but the smell is not gone yet! It's really bad when you come in after being out for a good amount of time! Is there ANY cure other than dousing my AC unit in Tomato paste?

Home depot and stores of the like sell "vent air freshners". It probably won't eliminate it, but I'm sure it'll help a bit!!! They are like small, rubber strips that you place inside the vents.Another thing I used to do just to make the house smell better is to put dryer sheets inside my vents. The house would smell Downy Fresh for weeks!
