How do you get a stuck dvd drive to close and open again?

when I push the button to close the dvd drive it doesn't close, its stuck open

go to my computer n right click on the drive n click eject  to open n push drive in when want it to close be gentle

Take a pin and stick it in the hole , on the bottom of the drive

it may be damaged, in which case forcing it will probably break the pinion that moves the drive in and out. you could try GENTLY pushing it in, though.
