I'm looking into buying a Honda Civic from a junkyard, and it doesn't have its paperwork. They would give me a bill of sale with it. Is there any way to get a title for it?

Thanks

Joe

  1. The best way is to find the last registered owner and have them file for a duplicate title. Since you probably don't know the last owner, you'll have to contact the DMV and see if they have a process for getting the title. This varies per state, so good luck because it might just become a salvage title.

  2. Contact NJMV services. It can be done. They will explain it
