How do you get a work permit in Madison, WI?

I am 14 yerz old and i need to get a job but do you get a work permit before you get hired, or you get hired and then get one? and i just graduated from middle school so do i get it from my highschool i will be going to? Plmk.!! thnnxz.

Here in WI your parents have to get the work permit from wherever you want to work.  When my daughter was your age, I got the work permit for her at the Drive-In.
