How do you get ahead in life?

I always thought that hard work and persistence will get you ahead in life. I try to live this way, but I still feel like I am in the same spot I was 5 years ago.

This is on the individual to be with people you enjoy or that enjoy your presence. That is the challenge of human existence!

believe me, your not alone.  It seems like its the ones that steal and cheat and lie and be lazy and acttttttt like they are doing somethin are the ones that move up and ahead in life.  Its killing me too.  Where I work the GM is stealing thousands of dollars. I have even turned her in to the owners, they dont seem to care.  Everyone knows about it at work too that she does this.  There is another lady that just does nothing and I do most of her work, yet she is in a position of authority and tells me what to do.  Its not like it used to be, but they will get theirs one day. THey will burn for it.    I dont have a dime to my name and am barely surviving

Change your job. This maybe the problem. If you are in a job you enjoy then hard work will come without you knowing it and then you will whiz up the ladder.Some people go for jobs with the most money but i advice against it
