  1. Rent one of those steam cleaners from the store, and pur water on the carpet and use the steam cleaner to pick up the water. Repeat, and final rinse should be water with some vinegar, and then one last rinse with water only. OR if doing manually, pour water on carpet, lay down double layer of paper towels, then use a cotton towel or newspapers on top of the paper towel barrier to blot the water. Walk on the spot to pick up and blot the water into the towels and newspaper.  Remove the newspaper immediately and do not allow the newspaper to touch the carpet or may leave ink stain. (I recommend the newspaper because I usually have it around and it is inexpensive to blot up extra water as long as one is careful to use white paper towels as a barrier and to not have the newspaper dye in contact the carpet) You will need to go over this many times to get out all the soap. Do not rub the carpet too much or it will show wear in that area. If you leave soap in the carpet, it will attract dirt to that spot. Good luck!

  2. Use some vinegar it will cut through the soap and then use water to clean it up. Good luck with the cleaning!

  3. Well use water that should work

  4. Vinegar and then water.  If you have a lot of bubbles, sprinkle table salt and that will get rid of the bubbles.
