How do you get an object out of the toilet shot of pulling it or breaking it?

If you plunge it it will flush sometimes good for 1 or 2 flushes and bad the next time. Using a toilet auger doesn't work, same effect as the plunger. I need to know a trick with this as it can get very annoying.

P.S. nothing wrong with the sewer line.

  1. Sounds like there is something in the s-bend in the toilet. Pull the toilet and take a look, I'll bet there is something in the toilet's s-bend.

All you will need to replace if you do this is the wax ring and the flange bolts. I would also repalce the water supply line.

A pair of pliers and $15 dollars in parts, plus 1 1/2 hours if you have never done it before (1/2 that if you have).

Easy fix to a very common problem.

  2. When you know the toilet will flush good. Shut the water off to the toilet, flush it, then pull the toilet. Now you have access to both ends. If this doesn't work and you have had enough buy another.
