How do you get an official purity ring?

Question

I wanna get a purity ring but #1 i don't know what kind i should i get and #2 how can i make it an official ring? Like at a church?? and #3 does it matter what it says or what it looks like?? if you could give me a website with some purity ring ideas id really appreciate it!

if u cant buy a real purity ring, heres what u should do... buy a ring from a jewelry store with a cross or an angel or something on it and just tell urself, if i wear this ring, im symbolizing that i wanna stay abstienent until marriage. thats wat i would do....

I think as long as you know its your purity ring u dont need to make it officail. it sorta matters what it says: like true love waits or purity or whatever

Honestly, I don't think you need to have a "special" purity ring.

I am going to ask for one soon, and here is how I am going about it.

I will simply ask my mom for a purity ring, tell her that I don't need a fancy one, we can go to like a walmart or Claires or something.

Then I will promise to God and myself that I will wait till marriage to have s*x, and I will wear this ring to prove it.

Silver Ring Thing tours churches selling purity rings.  They have a scripture on them, and there's a brief ceremony.  Really though, any ring can serve as a purity ring, ceremony or no ceremony.  There's no solid rule about making it "official."  Maybe you should talk to your church leader.

You can go to those websites mentioned above or just visit a Christian bookstore.  You don't need to make it official or anything, the only thing that makes it official is if you make the committment fully.  A pastor doesn't need to bless it or anything.

The ring can be anything, but they have ones that are a little plain and say "True Love Waits" or my sister has a set of 3 rings, one that says "True," one that says "Love," the last one that says "Waits."  Just make sure that you like it and it is comfortable!!
