  1. play yours louder

or call the noise control/environmental disturbance people

  2. Give them a CD with an opposite type of music and ask them to play it a your party tonight.

    OR

Tell them it's nice to have a free DJ

  3. Call the police and file a noise complaint.

  4. First, politely ask them to lower the level of their music.

If this doesn't work, tell your landlord if you have one.

If it continues, call the police. Good Luck.

  5. Call the cops.

  6. Be careful about getting into a war of noise, it is likely to only get worse.

A couple of things to try though:  1) Bagpipe music, LOUD; 2) vacuuming and bumping the machine up against the wall repeatedly.

Had one neighbor a while back who listened to his football game very loudly.  This being fall, we all had our apartment windows and patio doors open and I could hear the game just like I was sitting in his living room.  One day, I'd had enough, so I vacuumed my living room, then parked the running vacuum cleaner right next to the open patio door and went to the convenience store.  Turned if off when I got home.  Never had a problem with loud TV from him again.

  7. If it's late at night, call the cops on them.

  8. If your 12 then just play your louder.  If your an adult you politely ask them to turn it down that it is disturbing you, if that doesn't work or they wont comply call the police.

  9. You don't.

If it's a regular problem, you try to go round and politely ask them to turn their music down. Maybe they're just not aware of how loud it is. If they don't, try again and tell them it's still loud. Try this on at least three occasions.

If they then don't respond, then call whoever is in charge of noise polution on your area.

But if it is a one off experience, i.e. they're having a party, or are very unusually having a lot of people round, then don't say anything. Allow them to have their fun. It's not a regular occurence, and they probably don't mean to cause you inconvenience. While in this situation, they will probably be apologetic, complaining is only going to have them thinking you're a spoil sport. Otherwise, see above.

  10. play yours louder when there asleep!

    :)

  11. burn the house down

  12. You could try calling them first and addressing the issue.  Nicely ask them to keep it down that they are disturbing you.  If that does not work, let them know you will be calling the cops to report the distrubance.

  13. Make it look like an electrical fire....

  14. play your music really loud when they are sleeping like at 2 or 3 in the morning

or fill a bag with dog poo and set it on fire, knock on their door and run or you could call the cops

  15. This is tough because if you 'get back' at them, you're going to really have to be prepared for war with someone who obviously lives close to you, and that could turn ugly.

If their music is too loud too often, though, don't try to get revenge, just call the police and let them handle it.
