How do you get beter at handstands?

Im ok at handstands and I want to incorperate my skateboarding into it but I need some tips on how to make my ballance and maybe some exercise tips to help?

  1. if u slightly lean over while holding your hand stand, then it is much easier to hold your handstand with out falling back down to the ground. Also try asking someone to hold your legs for a little while inn the handstand, and ask them to let go. See how long you can hold it for.


  2. First of all you should practise handstands against a wall, try facing both ways. This will help with the feel of handstands.  Then get someone to gently support you while you find your center of balance. Then they should let go and you should try to stay there for as long as you can. I found this helpful when I was learning to hold mine for gymnastics. Good Luck and remember to PRACTISE!

  3. First you can practice up against a wall. That is really a good practice and warm up. Stretch your legs up and stand their until your arms cant hold you any longer. Your hands are doing all the work. Also, practice landing your handstand and keeping both feet together when coming up to form a handstand. That really helps. I remember when I had to learn that. But my friends kept motivating me and i kept motivating myself. So I kept trying. That is all you need to do. Practice what i jus told you and keep practicing. Hope i helped!! : ]
