  1. Cover the stain with dish detergent (like Dawn) and let it sit overnight. Wash in warm or hot water the next day. It works. No kidding.

  2. try putting some hydrogen peroxide on the blood stain and when it starts to foam pat with a cloth. then wash as normal

  3. Sometime a soak in detergent will get it out if it's not dried in. If you pre treat, soak etc. and it doesn't come all the way out I recommend Carbona Stain Devils. You will need the #4 formula. You can get them at most grocery stores. I always use them when I get a stubborn stain that usual methods don't work on. Oh, and only wash blood stains with cold water. Hot water will set in in.

  4. Rub cold water and Oxyclean into it. If no Oxyclean is available, use regular laundry detergent.

Don't ever use hot water on a blood stain, as it cooks the protein and sets the stain.
