How do you get blood out of clothes so it won't stain?

  1. I've heard (but never tried it) that putting peroxide on the stain will bring it out.


  2. Shout stain remover, the gel in the bottle with the attached brush. Brush on the gel and scrub it in, then throw it in the wash.

  4. If it hasn't dried yet rinse it under cold water, don't wash it in hot water because that'll make the stain set. Depending on how much blood and how fresh it is cold water may be enough on its own, if its not rub some salt onto the blood and rest it in the water for 10 minutes or so and rinse to see if its come out. If not, just repeat until it does come out.

    If its an old stain then you can soak it overnight in a sink full of cold water and salt and it should come out fine. You won't need peroxide, cold water and salt will take it out.
