How do you get border off a wall?

mix hot water with a little bit of baby oil.  Spray on, wait a bit, and it should peel right off.  Good luck!  I honestly don't know what people were thinking when they put those horrid things up!

Those HORRID!! borders, nuisance to mankind.....

My kids love theirs!, My sons' has motorcycles all around his room,  and my daughters' is kids playing.  They're a great way to decorate and let kids be individualistic.

OH.....I'm ranting....to get them off....what she said will work, then follow up with a degreaser, or Simple Green to clean off the baby oil prior to painting.

its an ugly job.

I peeled the top layer off.  Secondly, I got a razor scraper and put it flat against the wall and scraped, if I got to close, I had to fill it in with drywall stuff.  Its the ugliest job in the world.  Then again, I've seen it come off with ease. God Bless

you can use hot water and vingter and that will take it of then wash it down with soap and hot water . by the wall paper man.

If you don't want to do all the mixing and matching of all that c**p then you can simply take your iron and steam the border and peel it. Only thing holding it is glue and if you heat the glue with moist hot air then it will become soft again.

Similar to wallpaper removal, I spray a solution of a little bit of dish washing soap in water, and a pump sprayer for more than one wall (plastic bottle for very small jobs).

Get it wet, give it a minute or two and when soft, scrape off with a wide putty knife, 4 & 5 inch is not too big.  It will dry faster than you think, keep it wet.

If it's vynal or foil covered, use a perforating tool, (has needle like wheels) so the water can get in.
