How do you get brothers away from you?

I have a 10 year old brother and a 4 year old brother. I am an 8 year old girl. My Mom is helping me ask this. I really don't like it when my brothers do pranks on me. They are annoying every second of my life. My older brother tries to act cool around his friends, even with my little brother. There are no girls on my street to play with. Just boys, only boys. What are some good ways to deal with my brothers and other annoying boys?

HUGS! No One wants hugs from their sister or from the girl down the street. Everytime they start to bother you, try to hug them. Watch them run like crazy.

I feel your pain. I grew up in a house the only girl with four brothers. Luckily I had friends in the neigborhood and relatives to visit every now and then.

I can only suggest that you spend time doing what you like to do. Your

Mom can help by not allowing the boys to fight you or pick on you. It is so easiy for girl to feel abused when others are allow to "pick on" them with no recourse.

You will survive this like I did. I hope you don't have the "battle scars" that I did.!!
