  1. put them in the freezer for a couple of hours first

  2. Give your candles a salt bath.  Put 2 tablespoons of salt in a pan of water.  Make sure your candles are covered with the water and let soak for a couple of hours.  Salt hardens wax.

  3. Blow the flame out after 10 mins, re light, wai 10 mins and blow flame out. Repeat steps 1&2 until candle is gone.

  4. put the candles in the freezer

  5. Keep blowing them out

  6. Buy church candles - they last much longer.

  7. The better quality candles will usually burn longer so even though the candle itself may cost more you will get about the same cost per minute of burn time.

Personally my favorite brand is Mia Bella's.  It's made with natural vegetable waxes and doesn't leave black soot like paraffin wax candles.

  8. Buy Gold Canyon candles and you'll be happy for sure!  The large size burns for 175-200 hours.  That's longer than any other candle on the market...AND they are guaranteed to be the strongest fragranced candles out there!

  9. Yankie Candles have this neat cone thing you can buy and when you put it on top of the burning candle, it lets the wax melt evenly and not just down the middle.  It helps them last longer and some of them are kinda cute.

  10. buy bigger candles

  11. keep them in the freezer until needed, the outside of the candles really harden up.
