  1. get a spray bottle and fill it with water. When they are caught in the act spray them! it should only take a few times til they stop.

If they are male cats be sure they are fixed. If not what they are doing is marking the territory. and that cant be stopped, unless fixed.

  2. When we bought our new couches we had to find a way to keep our cat from scratching them up. We went to pet-smart and asked them and they directed us to a natural spray that keeps them from scratching. I guess they don't like how it smells or something? I'm not sure how it works but it did! I'm pretty sure they carry the same type of spray at wal-mart. You should just go in and ask someone. They also have a type of sticky tape that you put where they would be scratching and they supposedly don't do it anymore because they don't like how it feels. We did not try that but can tell you that the spray works. It's not expensive it was about 8 dollars at Pet-smart. Good luck!

  3. you need to control them or go on the sight how to control your cat in a good way

  4. Cats are territorial, meaning that they wherever they live, they will mark the boundaries of their 'house' by spraying in specific areas. This is different from urine. It smells the same only 5 times stronger. It is permanent on some surfaces, too. Male and sometimes female have this behavior. Having the male neutered or the female spayed stops the spraying, as well as sterilizing them from fertility (impregnation).

To help get the scratching under control shop for an upstanding scratching post. One should be enough for all three. You can also try getting one or two cardboard type scratchers. They lay flat on the floor. It may take them awhile to get used to the cardboard, but they will use for scratching. My cat uses it, but she really prefers the upstanding scratching post. My cat pretty much stays away from furniture, just on occasion, she will scratch the bed.
