How do you get cross chop and ice punch for Electivire ?

When I breed my electabuzz with a male machoke it learned cross chop and when i evolved my new elekid into an electabuzz i breed it again with a male medicham that knew ice punch but the offspring only knew ice punch. What went wrong?

breed a male medicham that knows ice punch with a female machamp or machoke or machop . only the male moves get passed on thats where you went wrong. when the egg hatches it should be a machop that knows ice punch. make sure its a male or the next breed wont work, level that up until it learns cross chop, voila a male machop or machoke that knows ice punch and cross chop. then breed that with a female electabuzz and there you have it an elekid that knows cross chop and ice punch, then evolve to electabuzz then trade with electrilizer to get electivire. personally my elekid knows all the elemental punches
