  1. First your school could help if they have drama class's, or join a theatrical group. That's where you can get started.

  2. You dont need to go to college to be an actress. Thats stupid.

All you need to do is join a drama club and audition for shows around your local area that are open to the public. The more shows you put yourself in the better.

I mean, dont get me wrong, you can go to college for acting, but you dont need a degree to get paid. Taking college courses on acting will help with experience, not with getting paid. If you show obvious talent that they want you dont need a degree.

Also, JOIN THE INTERNATIONAL THESPIAN SOCIETY.

Anyone truly interested in theater should probably be a member, its good stuff.

  3. get classes

    do plays

    participate in talent show

    do commercials

    star small go big!

you shoudl do some classes!participate in plays! build up your resume! get an agent! do auditions! get headshots!

    actinginfo.blogspot.com

    acting411.blogspot.com

    hannahmontanacasting.blogspot.com

and for an agent go to talentagents.blogspot.com and scroll down till you find city nearest you

read everythign you see! and click on words in blue but not double udnerlined ones and i suggest that you sign up with alan baltes go to first site and look at right column it explains everything! he wont be an agent just help you out and its a one time fee of 30 dollars and totally worth it!

  4. you should try joining a drama club

  5. okay, well...

definatly try doing classes at a local theater thats what i say to everyone but its true thats how i  and many other people got started...

i would take voice lessons and try dance class that should get you to a good start.

    hope this helps(:

  6. Yeah you really don't have to go to an acting school to be an actress thats ridiculous.

But just try to get into school plays or take acting and theater classes. Dance classes and voice lessons help too just stuff to put on your resume to get an agent to look at you and once you get an agent they will let you know about auditions for other productions like movies or stage plays.

  7. I don't have an agent yet, but I can still help.

What I did was go audition for my local community theater and do a lot of shows there. I did... three shows over a summer and learned a lot. Then I did the plays we did in the high school. Now I'm doing some plays at the professional theater we have in town. I'm planning on doing that for another year and then possibly look for an agent depending on weather I want to go to college for theater first, which is what I'm leaning towards.

That's just my plan, and it's worked so far.

  8. you have to go to acting school to be an actress

  9. well wat i am doing right now is im going to a community theater, take dance classes (in case if you have to dance in ur audition), learning how to play the guitar (u might want to know how to play that) and im working on my portfolio and resume get headshots taken and start writing down ur skills and the plays uv done befor just like a regular resume, but a big thing for headshots would be make them coloered not blackand white and ur name on it somewhere, and then get a legit agent and then he ll start sending ur resume out

    hope i helped
