How do you get fake nail acrylic tips off of your real nail without damaging them?

i cant get them off !!!! and i need them off before tuesday for my soccer practice

Fake nails always damage your real nails regardless of anything. But here is what I do and it works for me:

I take nail polish remover and pretty much soak my finger/fingers in it either in the little container of nail-polish remover or just soak the cotton ball and apply it to your nails constantly for at least 2 minutes.

Then repeat it until the fake nail comes off completely. This procedure will soften the fake nail and eventually you can rip it off easily without your real nail peeling off along with it.

And after doing all this... just use a filer and file the top of your nail to remove the line that the nail might have left.

This is my little procedure and it usually works so me, so I hope it works for you too.

Soak them in Acetone for 15-20 minutes, then take a orange wood stick, and push off the softened nail...That's the Real way to do it...and Nail Acrylics.tips, gels, will ALWAYS damage your nails, no matter how you take them off.

Trust me from experience, go to a salon to have them take it off. It's the best way, but no matter what they will be weak for awhile and will break much more easily than before.

If you really have to take them off yourself, then soak them in nail polish remover and slowly chip away.

Thats the problem.  Fake nails, always damage your real nail, no matter what.  Your best bet is to soak them in hot water (Not to hot, don't want to burn yourself!) and just hope for the best.

i go to my nail place for them to get them off. they dont ruin your nails as much as you would.
