How do you get fast punches?

When I spar with my friend he said my punches are kind of predictable. Is there any techniques to make them punch like a mach 10 jet? Anyways? Thanks

well let me tell you look when you box fight think fast smooth and just let go i ming bring out that pressure and anger just face to death and dont care clear all thoughts and focus if you dont do that no trainer or nothing could get you better faster release the animal inside and pucnh with your might so quick it ant be even predictable to be even seen

You should try shadow boxing with small weights in your fists. Do the first half of the round with, the second without the weights. Try also 10 second "sprints" where you punch as fast as possible.

Exercise in front of the mirror. Try to eliminate all movements that show that you are going to punch (like lifting the elbow to the side or lowering the fist before punching).

Try not to use the same rythm of punching. Variation makes your punches unforseeable.

If your punches still are predictable, try out some unusual combinations to compensate that. (For example: Your left jab is dodged by your opponent. Jab with the left and continiue with a very fast left hook and the a right jab. Your opponent will be able to dodge the first punch but will be hit by the hook and the right jab)

To sum up: Increase your speed and try out some new combinations and rythms.

Try using feints if your partner can see what is coming, mix things up a bit but if you've been training with him for a while i bet you can read him pretty well to, could try sparring with someone new?

yes. practice punching fast and you will start to become faster. go to a boxing gym and learn there.

dont broadcast your punches so much.. try to box closer to your friend while keeping your swings close to your body.
