It is a shoulder harness with a large waist bar that locks in between the walls of the side of seat. Then there is a leg bar that comes down so you can't kick your legs out. It is just like the Chaos ride.

I believe fro mteh video you get fastened from the top. as in your sitting and a harness part goes over your head and come down to the center of and between your legs
