I don't know what the program was called, but on Freebie Force there was something for computer protection that is worth $20.  Just find the "Freebie Force" link on the blog below to check it out.  There's also tons of other freebies on there, too.

I've been using AVG http://free.avg.com for a couple years now on lots of different computers.  They have anti-virus and anti-spam software.  It's really awesome!
