  1. The prior Answerers are correct as far as they go but they are not right about alternatives more convenient.  Northeastern has 2 T subway line stations - Northeastern on the Green Line and Ruggles on the Orange Line.   Both stops are in the middle of the university but in different spots.  The Orange Line is faster.  Change to the Orange Line from the Red Line at Downtown Crossing.

Better still: many Purple Line (Commuter Rail) trains from South Station also stop at Ruggles.  So when you get to South Station check when the next train is that stops there.  If less than 15 minutes wait take the Purple Line train.  If more than 15 minutes take the Red Line to the Orange Line.  The fares are the same if you use a Charley Ticket.

  2. You get on the Subway (red line) toward downtown Boston. Get off at Park Street station and change for the Green Line. There are several branches to the Green Line....the key thing is to get on any car that says ......(via Huntington Ave.)

    Good Luck

  3. Take the red line (toward Alewife), get off at Park Street and switch to the the E line (green) outbound. The E line goes up Huntington Ave, which is where a lot of the Northeastern campus is. There are a few stops, between Symphony and the Museum of Fine Arts. Depending on where you're going, Ruggles on the orange line might be closer ... but if you think it is, you should definitely call and ask ahead, since that's not in a great area and you don't want to be wandering around if you don't know where you're going.

  4. Take the Red Line to Park Street.  Go upstairs and transfer to the Green Line.  The only branch with a stop at Northeastern is the "E" branch.
