Cause I always find myself wondering that. Like does it come with practice or is it just innate and you're supposed to be good right off the bat?

  1. PRACTICE! :D find other people's artwork that you like and look at the composition and try to imitate it.

  2. I must agree with the others, practice is the most important thing to do.  But you also need to learn how to see what you are drawing.  From a drawn image is easiest, then move on to a photo, then real life objects.

Get a tortillion and learn to shade your pencil lines and it will make a huge improvement on them.

  3. It takes time. I really sucked a drawing until i took and art class this year, then it came to me. I believe it just takes time and practice. Take and art class if you want it to improve. By doing this you will just increase your skill level. Make sure you take time, it is amazing how much that helps.

  4. practice, take lessons

  5. To me the key is keep practicing. I've been drawing all my life, (I'm 52 today!)  And draw from life. start with easy things, draw an egg, a paper bag, Read the book Dawing from the Right side of your Brain. But just draw every day, If you love it you will get better.

  6. You can definitely improve with practice. Of course your practice will pay off a lot sooner if you know good techniques. Trial and error takes many years. But with the proper techniques and the desire to put in some practice time you will improve rapidly.
