How do you get goverment grants and who qualifys?

You have to file a FAFSA application...There are also tons of scholarships, but many are very specific (certain schools, races, religions, gender, majors, etc.).  I  make pretty good money and still get grants due to my GPA and the fact that no one in my family has ever made it to college...so, it just depends.
