How do you get guns in Portal?

I have the game Portal, and I have seen videos of people using handguns in it. I have tried impulse 101 but nothing happens. Is this even possible?

I think you got to smuggle them in hidden in one of your hchum excuse me. cavities, and not the ones in your teeth if you got any. IF you know what that guy over there means ----->

you only get the Portal Gun in Portal.

however if you use a portal map in Gmod then you can use a gun (no Portal gun though in Gmod).

there is a semi major hack that actually means apart form having guns in Portal also means you get Portal gun in Half Life 2, whihc basaiclly invovles copying shunks of the gmae form each directory across, though it is quite amajore task, jsut to get guns in a gmae that ahs no enemies ( excpet hte turrets, but guns probs wont work on them) so is more a mod to get Portal's in HL2.

The only gun you get in Portal is the Portal gun.

Or they modded the game.
