You do not have to go to college to play in the MLB. Baseball is different than football and basketball. In these sports usually people going that route will want to go to college to be able to get the attention of NFL or NBA. However college baseball is not as popular so its pretty common for mlb player to not have gone to college. Teams do have walkon tryouts if you have not been scouted in highschool.
