  1. You honestly dont need to do anything..All you need is to remain at a weight that is appropriate to your height..

Your 14..You need to eat what you want and do as you please and enjoy your teenage years.

You do not have to be in any top shape to pass USMC boot camp. You simply must want to pass. There is absolutely no need to begin training at 14 years of age.

  2. If your 14 shouldn't you be at school.

They won't take you without a HS Diploma in shape or out of shape.

14 is to young for an exercise program. Wait til your 16 and your grown out a bit more. At your age it is a lot easier to get injured in a permamnet fashion.

       Sports

       Bicycling

       LIGHT use of free weights

Get off the PC and play some baseball or football.

  3. Just start a running program that you keep up for years.  That will make things easier once you get there.  You will already have the conditioning and good form.  You can do other exercises, like push ups and sit ups, but just a general conditioning, ramping it up about 6 months of so before you leave will be sufficient.

  4. Because the earliest age is still at least 3 years away for you, I would recommendd that you just play as much sport as you can and stay out of trouble and away from drugs then it will be a breeze

    Good luck

  5. You can work out regularly. Things to focus on are crunches, push ups, pull ups, and endurance training. And run, or swim, or cycle. Honestly... At your age I was starting light weights, push ups, pull ups. Just make sure you eat healthy, and keep in relative shape and you should be fine by the time 16 or 17 rolls around.

  6. Just eat healthy and get a little bit of exercise and you will be just fine.

  7. Eat what you want, do what you want, enjoy high school.

But... be active! Don't just sit around on the computer or playing video games all day... Go run around, play a sport, do something.

O - and do good in school... The Marines require you to have a high school diploma or a GED And 15 100+ level college credits :-)

Stay out of trouble and stay away from drugs & underage drinking.
