How do you get internet without wifi for the itouch?

Question

so without wifi you cannot use youtube, safari, maps, etc on the itouch?

and basically the only place i know with wifi is like mcdonalds or starbucks.

so basically the itouch can only be used for music videos and photos just like the regular ipod?

but the videos downloaded from YouTuBe is flv format,ipod accepts only mp4 videos,so u need a professional third

party software to convert the videos to MP4 videos,i used to iSkysoft ipod movie converter, it's easy to operate and support free upgrade..

You can't use the internet without wifi, you need to be connected to your modem/router to be able to use all the iPod Touch internet features.

yah but u can go and buy a wireless router for about $30-$50. then u could use the wifi feature at home whenever you want, but otherwise u have no special uses besides a touch screen

Sad, but true.  You cannot use the iPod Touch without a wireless internet connection.  The good news is that you can get a wireless router for under $100 from Best Buy, Circuit City, or at websites like http://www.newegg.com/ or http://www.tigerdirect.com/ if you want to be able to use those features.
