I know I am shallow but I'd really would like to. The waiting list is about 6 months I know. I usually have fish and chips if I'm lucky.

  1. Try phoning to check for late cancellations. As people book up months in advance things happen to cause them to cancel - often at the last minute,

  2. Go to fat Stan's cafe instead. The Egg butties are to die for.......well you may die if you eat em

  3. Call and tell them you want a reservation and you don't expect to wait six months. Sound authoratative.

  4. I bet the food in Nando's is much better!

  5. Make the reservations well in advance, or get lucky like we did.  Get someone at a good hotel call and pretend that you had reservations and they were just double checking the time of the reservations.  We got right in.  Sometimes it pays to be a vacationer.  Really liked the Ivy.

  6. Why would anybody want to go there? The food is very poor the staff are unfriendly and unprofessional and the customers are so far up their own backsides they can eat their own waste. I have been twice

  7. 6 months my a r s e,  its who you know, or are.   The food is shite there anyway.  If you want to go somewhere where they do good food,  try hakisan.

  8. start dating someone famous or rich

  9. From what people say the food doesn't justify the price.

The best way to Q-jump is to start dating someone rich and famous.

  10. Unless you're famous, you'll have to hold out for the six months. That said, it's hardly the best restaurant to go to. You'll recieve far better food in many other places, such as Gordon Ramsay at Claridges, or Le Gavroche, or Le Manoir aux Quatre Saisons, or The Fat Duck. And the reservation time is certainly less than six months.
