How do you get into being a nanny in New York City?

I would like to be a nanny in nyc after i graduate. Do you know if you have to have any sort of college education for it?

I would need to have good references for the obvious reasons.

I think once you have that, you can probably check sites like Craigslist.org (NY section) for postings and what the posters require.

The high paying nanny positions are all filled by people with college degrees.  Most definitely contact on of the agencies and get an idea of what classes would benefit you most.
