How do you get into varsity?

what time do you need on the mile to get into varsity?

My team, you'd probably need lower than a 5min mile.  It all really depends on who's on your team though.  If you don't have very fast runners in the low 5s will probably get you in.  If you have a lot of competition, you'd need an excellent time to get noticed.

Well it really depends on your competition, meaning your opponents and your team mates. However to be successful, don't get anything over 5:10.

basically you want to be one of the top four. For my school you probaly would need to run 4:40 or lower
