  1. You may ask in yahoo answers to get a clue

  2. You have to become a specialist in a field needed by the International Red Cross, and have some experience with your local Red Cross as well. A specialist means a nurse, a doctor, a civil engineer, a vet, an expert in emergency logistics, transportation or communications, etc. Being able to work in a second language is also highly valuable.

The International Red Cross is *overwhelmed* with email, so don't email them directly -- it's a waste of time.

  3. Be active first in your local Red Cross branch and if your work will be appreciated, you may be sent to an international assignment.

  4. Just contact them by email, the exact same way you posted your interest in becoming a part or their organization.
